Cape Town - Australian back Dane Haylett-Petty wants to play in a World Cup so badly, he has turned down several big money offers from Europe to realise his dream.
Haylett-Petty experienced a breakthrough year in 2016 which attracted the attention of quite a few clubs, Bordeaux being chief among them. However, the winger who can also play full-back is not ready to bail on his dream and wants to play in the 2019 World Cup in Japan.
"I have had some good offers out of Europe, they were tempting but I’ll be around next year," Haylett-Petty told the West Australian.
"We’re working through a few things but as long as the Force is here I’ll be here. I’m hoping to build on last season and I’m looking forward to being here for the next world cup."
Haylett-Petty has one year left on his Western Force contract is will join up with his team-mates for pre-season training on Monday.
"I’m told there is a really good feel in training," he said.
"There’s a really young group that has brought a lot of energy and at the same time there is some real experience in the leadership group."
