Montpellier - Springbok brothers Jannie and Bismarck du Plessis will miss Montpellier's clash with Toulouse on Sunday after returning home following their father's death, the Top 14 club said on Tuesday.

The players' father Francois had suffered from Parkinson's disease for many years.

Hooker Bismarck, 32, had been due to make his competitive return following five months out due to a torn pectoral muscle.

Montpellier are third in the Top 14, Toulouse seventh and just outside the playoff positions.
