French highlight two Bok mishaps

Cape Town - Two embarrassing Springbok performances in 2015 have made it into a popular French rugby newspaper’s five ‘crazy’ matches of the year.

Midi Olympique has highlighted the five matches they feel stood out the most during the 2015 rugby season.

South Africa’s 37-25 Rugby Championship loss to Argentina - their first ever defeat to Los Pumas - made it onto the list, while the Boks’ embarrassing 34-32 reverse to Japan at the Rugby World Cup also cracked the nod.

Midi Olympique’s ‘crazy’ games of 2015:

Six Nations: England 55-35 France, London - March 21

European Rugby Champions Cup final: Toulon 24-18 Clermont, London - May 2

Rugby Championship: South Africa 25-37 Argentina, Durban - August 8

Rugby World Cup: South Africa 32-34 Japan, Brighton - September 19

Rugby World Cup final: New Zealand 34-17 Australia - October 31
