France set for second November Test against ABs

Paris - France will play a second Test match in a matter of days this autumn against New Zealand, sources at Marseille's Velodrome Stadium said Monday.

Management at the 67,000-seater stadium have officially lodged a bid with the French rugby federation (FFR) to stage the game on November 14.

France are already set to play a home Test against the reigning two-time world champions on November 11 in Paris and will also host South Africa on November 18 and Japan on November 25 at venues yet to be decided.

The Velodrome Stadium was the venue of France's last victory over New Zealand on November 18, 2000 (42-33) under former coach Bernard Laporte.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
