Paris - France lock Sebastien Vahaamahina could miss their tour to New Zealand if National Rugby League (LNR) disciplinary officials suspend the Pacific islander in relation to incidents while playing for Top 14 club Clermont.
Vahaamahina will face a disciplinary panel, the LNR confirmed on Monday, after being red-carded for punching an opponent during a 27-17 defeat to Agen on Saturday.
As he left the pitch, the 26-year-old Noumea-born player defiantly responded to Agen fans by raising his middle finger.
Vahaamahina offered apologies afterwards via messages on his Twitter account, but a ban of more than a week could see him excluded from France's travelling party to New Zealand next month.
