France flank Camara out of NZ mid-year tour

Montpellier - France flank Yacouba Camara's season is over after tearing his cruciate knee ligament, his club Montpellier said on Saturday.

It means the 23-year-old will miss France's June tour to New Zealand.

It's a second major injury on the same knee for Camara, who joined Montpellier from Toulouse at the start of this season.

"Once again I have to fight the fight to come back," Camara wrote on Twitter.

He previously needed surgery on an injury to the same knee.

He has not played since France's final Six Nations match against Wales last month in which he left the field after 20 minutes with a suspected twisted knee.

However, an MRI scan on Friday revealed a torn ligament.
