Cape Town - Fiji are set to be boosted by the return to fitness of Semi Radradra ahead of this weekend’s Pacific Nations Cup clash with Canada in Suva.
There are no major injuries in the islanders’ team as head coach John McKee has his full squad to select for Round 2 of the tournament.
“There are couple of small injuries but nothing major. All players are expected to be fine and up and running for training from today,” he said before revealing that Radradra has recovered from his injury sustained during a club game in France and will most likely feature.
McKee said he is to have further discussions with this medical team with regards to the other minor injuries in camp as they look to bounce back from an opening defeat to Japan.
“I am liaising with the medical team but I can confirm that Semi Radradra is available for selection this week,” he said.
“Eroni Sau has progressed well with his rehabilitation and he is ready to go.
“Josua Tuisova is also fully fit and ready to go. Certainly those two will be in contention for selection this week.”
