Ex-Stormers lock in Ireland's Bok plans

Cape Town - Ireland have named 44 players who will assemble for a 24-hour camp following the completion of this weekend's PRO 12 fixtures.

The players will assemble on Sunday afternoon and disperse at Monday lunchtime as preparations continue for Ireland's forthcoming tour to South Africa in June.

There are four uncapped players included - Matt Healy, Luke McGrath, Garry Ringrose and Quinn Roux.

Roux, 25, is a South African-born lock who represented Western Province and the Stormers before moving to Ireland in 2012.

Ireland already have three South Africans - loose forward CJ Stander and hookers Richardt Strauss and Rob Herring - who are capped at Test level for their adopted nation.

Ireland will take on the Springboks in Cape Town (June 11), Johannesburg (June 18) and Port Elizabeth (June 25).
