Canadian Cudmore quits Oyonnax

Oyonnax - Canadian coach Jamie Cudmore has quit Oyonnax with immediate effect over a "disagreement", the French Top 14 basement boys said on Thursday.

After 11 years as a player with Clermont, Cudmore finished his career with a season at Oyonnax last term in the second division before joining their coaching staff for the start of the current campaign.

The 39-year-old former lock summoned Clermont to court last June claiming he had been twice forced by his club to play on despite failing concussion protocols following head knocks.

Oyonnax are currently bottom of the Top 14 and 10 points from safety having won only one match all season.
