Burger set for Saracens debut

Cape Town - Springbok legend Schalk Burger will make his Saracens debut when the defending champions take on the Worcester Warriors in the Aviva Premiership this weekend.

Burger has joined the English club on a two-year deal following his 13-year spell with Western Province and the Stormers. 

Burger will wear the No 7 jersey at Twickenham on Saturday. 

There are a number of other South African-born players in the Saracens match-day squad. 

Petrus du Plessis starts at tighthead prop while the side will be captained by inside centre and former Sharks centre Brad Barritt. 

On the bench Schalk Brits enters another season with the club he has been at since 2009, while former Stormers loose forward Michael Rhodes provides cover.
