Bulls have sights set on Kings trio

Cape Town - Three more players from the embattled Kings franchise could join the Bulls in the near future.

The Kings are in dire financial straits, and with the EP Rugby Union unable to play their players in recent times, a few have opted to leave the union.

The Bulls have already signed prop Lizo Gqoboka and wing Luther Obi from the Kings and they also have their sights set on wing Sylvian Mahuza as well as loose forwards Thembelani Bholi and Tim Agaba.

According to Bulls High Performance Manager, Xander Janse van Rensburg, talks with three players are on-going and they could still join the team in the near future.

Meanwhile, the Bulls on Monday announced their Super Rugby squad for the upcoming season.

They also indicated that they will play the Cheetahs in a pre-season game in Zimbabwe on February 6, while they start their season-proper with an away clash against the Stormers in Cape Town on February 27.
