Boland snap up Kings coach

Cape Town - Boland Rugby are set to unveil Brent Janse van Rensburg as their new head coach.

It was confirmed on Wednesday that the 35-year-old had severed ties with the EP Kings and their financial woes, and Janse van Rensburg has taken his skills elsewhere.

Boland's media officer Jaco van Wyk told Sport24 on Thursday that discussions with Janse van Rensburg were at an advanced stage and that the deal was likely to be confirmed later in the day.

Janse van Rensburg will join the Cavaliers at the beginning of January 2016 and go straight into preparations for next year's Currie Cup.

The length of the contract will be revealed once the union announces the appointment publicly.
