Over 3 000 rugby enthusiasts voted over the past two weeks for this all-time Dream Team in France's premier club competition.
Botha, 40, is picked in the second row alongside former France captain Fabien Pelous. Only four foreigners made the team, with the others all backline players, namely Argentina's Juan Martin Hernandez (fullback), Australia's Matt Giteau (centre) and England's Jonny Wilkinson (flyhalf).
Botha played 73 matches for Toulon between 2011 and 2015, winning three European Champions Cup titles and one Top 14 crown.
He represented the Bulls between 2002 and 2011, winning three Super Rugby titles with the Pretoria franchise before moving to France. The 85-Test capped Springbok retired from professional rugby in 2015.
