Bordeaux - Australian international winger Adam Ashley-Cooper grabbed a sensational hat-trick to help steer French Top 14 side Bordeaux to a 48-20 mauling of rock-bottom Oyonnax on Saturday.
Bordeaux ran in seven tries in total in front of 22,000 fans at their Stade Chaban-Delmas home as they moved into fourth spot in the table and well-placed for the end of season play-offs.
The 31-year-old Ashley-Cooper scored his first two tries in the space of four first-half minutes and added his third of the afternoon on 65 minutes.
The Wallaby star had not scored a Top 14 try for Bordeaux before Saturday in what was his sixth league appearance for the club.
