Arnold blow for Wallabies

Cape Town - Lock Rory Arnold has been withdrawn from the Wallabies' match day 23 to face the Barbarians in Sydney on Saturday and has been replaced by Liam Wright.

Arnold was initially named at number four to start for the Wallabies but picked up a knee injury in training this week which means Kane Douglas has been promoted from the bench to start while Wright has been drafted in as cover on the bench.

Wright is regarded as one of Australian Rugby's brightest young prospects, having won the U20s Player of the Year award just days ago.

South African-born Wright is in line to make his debut despite having never made a Super Rugby appearance.

The 20-year-old is playing his second season with Queensland Country in the 2017 NRC.
