Ali Williams says sorry for 'big mistake'

Cape Town - Former All Blacks star Ali Williams has apologised letting down the rugby community.

Williams, along with former Wallaby James O'Connor, were arrested in Paris last Saturday in possession of cocaine.

The pair, currently playing for French clubs Racing 92 and Toulon respectively, were stopped at around 05:00 outside a night club near the city's Champs Elysees avenue and found to be in possession of two grammes of cocaine.

Williams took to Twitter on Wednesday to say sorry for his "mistake" and thanks everyone for their support.

Williams, aged 35, earned 77 New Zealand caps between 2002 and 2012.
