Herman says: “It’s a no-brainer to pick Jesse Kriel in place of injured skipper Jean de Villiers.
"With the future in mind, I'm going for Schalk Burger to lead the team. There’s also an injury cloud over Victor Matfield who limped out of Tuesday’s training session with a hamstring injury. If he fails to make the starting team, Lood de Jager should join Eben Etzebeth in the second row. Jannie du Plessis had a torrid game against Samoa and the time is right to permanently replace him with Frans Malherbe at tighthead prop."

Lloyd says: "For me, the team picks itself and the players who did the business against Samoa should be rewarded. Jannie du Plessis needs to find form before the knockouts while Strauss’s showing against Samoa earns him another crack. If Matfield is injured then in comes Lood de Jager while Schalk gets the captaincy."
