London - Handre Pollard's 14 points against Argentina has seen him move past Jannie de Beer in the Springboks' all-time points scoring list.
Pollard was on target with four penalties and a conversion at The Stadium, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Friday's Rugby World Cup Bronze final, which the Boks won 24-13.
Those points moved Pollard up to 188 - and eighth in the overall list - in just his 20th Test.
Pollard passed De Beer's total of 181 in the process, and now lies just two points behind Joost van der Westhuizen.
Pollard's points are made up of two tries, 29 conversions, 37 penalties and three drop goals.
Percy Montgomery is the runaway leader atop the list with 893, followed by Morne Steyn (694) and Bryan Habana whose 320 points are made up of his Springbok record 64 tries.
