A night best forgotten in the rich history of All Blacks rugby.

02 Oct 22:46

78' - MAN OF THE MATCH

Th award goes to Georgia skipper Mamuka Gorgodze

02 Oct 22:44

70' - Barrett not even on the bench...

#embarrassed

02 Oct 22:37

70' - OH MY WORD!

Dan Carter sums up the All Blacks' night by kicking a penalty dead

Get him off. Where's by boy Barrett?

02 Oct 22:35

68' - This really is scrappy. Coach Hansen must be fuming.

Much like I feel aving t o stay up and watch...

#justkidding

02 Oct 22:35
68' - Georgia getting stronger and stronger as the All Blacks fade
02 Oct 22:28

62' - Horror show by New Zealand's standards.

Even more worrying is the sight of Richie McCaw with an ice pack on his knee and quad in the sidelines.

SBW returns. Head knock? What head knock... ?

But he's up.

02 Oct 22:06

44' - Won't be surprised if we see changes to the All Blacks strating XV

The All Blacks simply haven't been on top of their game all tournament

No value in betting on them to defend their title. Smart money - in my opinion - would be better spent on Ireland, France... or the Springboks?

02 Oct 22:04

9-1

The All Blacks "lead" the handling error count 9 to 1

02 Oct 21:39

35' - All Blacks continue to fumble

Not very impressive from the defending champions. They will certainly have to up their game should they wish to win the title this year

02 Oct 21:38

34' - Georgia continue to give away penalty after penalty inside their own 22m

Referee has a word with their skipper

02 Oct 21:35

Doesn't work. Conrad Smith elects to put boot to ball, but the ball rolls into touch

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of this Pool C Rugby World Cup encounter between New Zealand and Georgia from Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. We'll return shortly with team news.

  • 0'

Steve Hansen has named a formidable starting XV to face Georgia in today's pool C clash. There are 10 changes in total from last week?s 44-point victory against Namibia, with winger Waisake Naholo featuring for the first time in the tournament, after his miracle recovery from a leg break. The Highlanders winger replaces Man-of-the-Match from the Namibian win, Nehe Milner Skudder, who drops out of the matchday squad after starting the opening two games. Ben Smith starts at fullback while Julian Savea retains his place in the starting 15 to complete the back three. Sonny Bill Williams continues at centre, but he?s joined by Conrad Smith in midfield, who comes in for Malakai Fekitoa. First choice half-back pairing Aaron Smith and Dan Carter link up behind the pack, with TJ Perenara set to provide cover at 10, with Tawera Kerr-Barlow the scrum-half replacement. Perenara is set to fill in at fly-half with Beauden Barrett and Colin Slade both carrying knocks, while Ma?a Nonu is also not considered for selection due to injury. Charlie Faumuina retains his place at tighthead, while Wyatt Crockett starts alongside hooker Dane Coles. Brodie Retallick is back in the second row to partner Sam Whitelock, while in the back row, Richie McCaw and Keiran Reid return to link up with Jerome Kaino.

  • 0'

Georgia coach Milton Haig has named Georgia?s most experienced test side, with 655 caps for today's clash. The starting XV features 10 changes from the side that lost 54-9 to Argentina. The whole pack changes with the exception of skipper Mamuka Gorgodze, who moves from number eight to openside flanker. The replacement front row from the Argentina game all win starting spots, as do lock Levan Datunashvili and back-row Shalva Sutiashvili, who both earned caps off the bench against the South Americans. In the backs, only fly-half Lasha Malaguradze and centre David Kacharava maintain their starting positions, while Giorgi Aptsiauri switches wings and Tamaz Mchedlidze moves to inside centre. Lasha Lomidze and Beka Tsiklauri make their RWC debuts at scrum-half and full-back, respectively, while Alexandr Todua ? who made four appearances at RWC 2011 ? starts on the left wing.
