Cape Town - Fiji proved far too strong for a game Uruguay beating their less fancied rivals by 47-15 in a Pool C World Cup encounter at Stadium MK.

Fiji who led 26-10 at half-time outscored Uruguay by 7 tries to 2.

The game was soured by the first red card of the World Cup when Uruguayan scrumhalf Agustin Ormaechea received his marching orders after collecting a second yellow card with 15 minutes left to play.
