All Blacks smash own RWC record

London - The All Blacks broke their own Rugby World Cup quarter-final victory margin with their demolition of France at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday.

The All Blacks scored nine tries in their 62-13 romp in a one-sided repeat of the 2011 World Cup final.

Their 49-point margin of victory bettered their previous record of 27 points when they accounted for Scotland 30-3 at the 1987 tournament.
