Paris - All Blacks lock Ali Williams goes straight into Toulon's starting line-up for their Top 14 match against Bayonne on Saturday just three days after touching down on French soil.
The 32-year-old, 77-time capped second-rower, who was part of the New Zealand team that won the 2011 World Cup, will pack down alongside one-time Springbok adversary Bakkies Botha.
Williams is the latest rugby great to join the star-studded European champions, bankrolled by comic book magnate Mourad Boudjellal and coached by former France manager Bernard Laporte.
