WPRU mourns Francis Mellish

Cape Town - Western Province Rugby have extended their condolences to the Mellish family, with the passing of former Western Province prop and administrator, Francis Mellish.

According to the WP Rugby website, Mellish played club for Hamiltons and, later, Villagers and he was the senior vice-president in Jan Pickard’s era at the WP Rugby Football Union.

Mellish was living in Somerset West until his death and is survived by his widow Moraig and three children.
