Varsity Cup cans 2-referee system

Cape Town - The Varsity Cup has done away with the use of two referees in favour of the traditional one referee for 2016.

Varsity Cup trialled the two referee system in 2014 and 2015.

The change will only be tested in the Varsity Cup and will not affect the Varsity Shield, Koshuis Cup or the Young Guns.

This year's Varsity Cup kicks off on Monday, February 8.
