Former Bulls coach takes Tuks reins

Cape Town - Former Bulls coach Nollis Marais is set to be unveiled as the new coach of Varsity Cup side Tuks.

Marais is set to replace David Manuel, who will stay on as an assistant coach.

Tuks have struggled in the Varsity Cup this season, having lost all five of their matches in 2018 to sit bottom of the log.

It will not be the first time Marais takes charge of Pretoria-based side, having guided them to back-to-back titles in 2012 and 2013.

Things did not work out so well for Marais at a senior level, though. Having coached the Bulls for two Super Rugby seasons, he was eventually relieved of his duties during last year's Currie Cup and was replaced by John Mitchell.

Tuks are next in action when they take on CUT on Monday.
