Toulon sign Pumas' Sanchez

Toulon - Toulon have signed Argentinian flyhalf Nicolas Sanchez on Thursday as a medical replacement for Frederic Michalak, who will be out of action for several months with an injured shoulder.

Sanchez, 25, is currently on international duty with Argentina at the Rugby Championship.

He has previous form in the Top 14, having spent two seasons with Bordeaux-Begles (2011-13) and will join Toulon on October 6 after the Championship finishes.

Michalak sustained a nasty shoulder and biceps injury in Toulon's 28-24 league defeat by Stade Francais on 13 September and is expected to be sidelined for at least three months.
