Johannesburg - The case against the SuperSport presenter accused of sexually assaulting a youth at a gym in Randburg was postponed by the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court, The Times reported on Friday.

Magistrate Simon Radasi postponed the case until January 2012 to allow the defence to make written representations to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The suspended SuperSport presenter, who cannot be named until he pleads, allegedly exposed himself to the 15-year-old boy in the changing rooms of a gym in Randburg in July this year.

The presenter then allegedly rubbed himself against a shower glass and proceeded to masturbate in full view of the boy.

  • Deon - 2011-11-25 10:42

You should get into trouble for this.

      Rodney - 2011-11-25 11:54

but do you rub yourself up against the glass and then whack off in front of a minor?! ALLEGEDLY,allegedly! Members (pun?) of the media should also be subject to scrutiny and exposure ('nother pun) without any favours

  • Anton - 2011-11-25 10:54

  • Yanga - 2011-11-25 11:56

Can someone please explain to me why a grown man would (1st) get turned on by a 15 year old boy and why (2ndly) He would rub himself against the shower glass and proceed with caning the vandal, in front of the kid..? I personally do not and never have liked watching other men choking kojak in my company... I think the sheer stupidity of the presenter *(who can't be named, meh)* is the real criminal element in all of this... Hey, at least the teen knows he has an admirer, just incase he's a bit awkward and geeky to pull chickies his age. But on the real, what's up with South african men and their unruly peckers..?

      sean.looney - 2011-11-25 13:15

this was great, im not going to lie.

  • Leendert - 2011-11-25 13:47

Well, they have now taken his picture off but even so, he was gloriously named in all previous articles since his arrest.

  • johncarlos.biza - 2011-11-25 13:56

He's quite a douche, both on tv and in real life(according to those who know him). Because of that I can't sympathize with him. The attitude you project can determine how people treat you when you run into trouble.

      Dorothea - 2011-11-26 07:06

i cannot stand the way he presents his shows. he continually uses 'aaaah', and uhmmm' to fill up his sentences.

  • Zion - 2011-11-25 13:57

Years ago these persons were people of high esteem. Just look at the old guard of radio and Television presenters. Dammit man these guys just did not pull their wire in front of anybody much less laaitjies. Other than the Fanus Rautenback joke of taking the Brooklyn bus instead of the Hatfield bus because none of the ladies on the hatfield bus wore hats.

  • Preshen - 2011-11-25 15:45

  • Leendert - 2011-11-25 17:23

I bet Peter D. (or should it be P. Davies?) will thank his lawyer/s for sorting out his anonymity issue for now!

  • Winsome - 2011-11-25 19:50

I don't believe a word of this story. I feel so sorry for this man and his family, they must be going through some sort of hell at the moment. I sincerely hope the truth comes out.

      Chris - 2011-11-26 07:42

The alleged incident lacks credibility, if it was a case supported with substantial evidence, why remand and extend the entire saga over the short working month of December. The ramifications are immense , leading to the supervision of minors in locker rooms, should there be separate locker rooms for Minors ?, the list is infinite . I have no idea who the presenter is , or what he presents.
