WP Rugby executive announces resignation

Western Province Rugby Football Union (WPRFU) executive committee member and shareholder director Kevin Kiewitz has resigned.

The news was confirmed by the union's president, Zelt Marais, to the region's clubs on Tuesday. 

Marais confirmed that the resignation had been immediate and that it was accepted by the board. 

No reasons have been given as yet. 

"I thanked Mr. Kiewitz for his contributions during his time in office and wished him well for his future endeavours," Marais said in a stetement.
