Whiteley fit to lead Lions in final

Cape Town - No 8 Warren Whiteley has been declared fit and will lead the Lions in Saturday’s Super Rugby final against the Hurricanes in Wellington.

Whiteley, who missed last weekend’s semi-final win over the Highlanders with a calf injury, replaces Ruan Ackermann in the Lions starting line-up.

Lourens Erasmus has been included on the bench, while Ross Cronje is also fit to provide scrumhalf cover.

Kick-off is scheduled for 09:35 (SA time) on Saturday morning.
