Cape Town - The Lions have chosen a rather unique way of acclimatising to the cold conditions that await them in Dunedin this weekend.
The men from Johannesburg have lost back-to-back matches on their Australasian tour against the Reds and Hurricanes, and they have one more assignment this weekend against the Highlanders before returning home.
The temperature is expected to be hovering around 10 degrees Celsius when the match kicks off at 09:35 (SA time) on Saturday.
On Monday, coach Swys de Bruin's men chose a somewhat unconventional way of preparing their bodies for the cold.
A post on their Instagram page showed a number of Lions players jumping into near-freezing water in Queenstown.
Let's hope that bravery finds its way onto the field on Saturday!
