Tim Perry blow for Crusaders, All Blacks

    2018-05-22 12:48

Cape Town - New Zealand and Crusaders prop Tim Perry has left the All Blacks' training camp in Auckland on the final day after pulling up with a hamstring strain.

Perry was a surprise inclusion alongside club team-mates Owen Franks and Joe Moody in Steve Hansen's 33-man squad to play France in a three-Test series in June.

With the Crusaders already having Franks and Moody ruled out of Friday's crucial Super Rugby clash with the Hurricanes, Perry's injury has left them desperately thin in the front-row department ahead of the encounter.

The 29-year-old will be examined over the coming days before an assessment is made, but he is almost certain to miss the weekend's action.
