Taufua re-signs with Crusaders

Cape Town - Flank Jordan Taufua has re-signed with the Crusaders until the end of 2018.

The blindside flank is in the best form of his career and is expected to make his 11th appearance of his season against the Blues in Auckland on Saturday.

Taufua joins Mike Alaalatoa, Leon Fukofuka and Barrett in inking new contracts this year, while Johnny McNicholl, Kieron Fonotia, Andy Ellis and Nemani Nadolo are in their final seasons in New Zealand.

Taufua could well hear his name called out by All Blacks coach Steve Hansen when he names his squad on Sunday for their three-Test series against Wales, starting on June 11.
