Stormers say goodbye to star trio

Cape Town - The Stormers have said goodbye to three players set to seek greener pastures abroad.

The Cape franchise's 2017 Super Rugby campaign ended last weekend when they lost 17-11 to the Chiefs in the quarter-finals at Newlands.

It turned out to be the final game for three stalwarts of the union.

Wing/fullback Cheslin Kolbe is set to join French club Toulouse, centre Juan de Jongh will join English club Wasps, while prop Oli Kebble has signed a deal with Glasgow Warriors in Scotland.

The players, who will join their new clubs with immediate effect, were honoured for their contributions to WP and Stormers rugby at Newlands this week.

Great farewell for these three soldiers at #dhlnewlands. #iamastormer #wpjoulekkerding #blueandwhite ????
