Cape Town - There are four changes to the Stormers starting line-up to face the Lions in their Vodacom Super Rugby clash at Ellis Park on Saturday.
The Stormers travel to Johannesburg in search of their third consecutive away win of this Super Rugby season, following victories in Bloemfontein and Buenos Aires, and their sixth victory from their seventh game overall.
Two of the changes are rotational, with loosehead prop JC Janse van Rensburg trading places with Oli Kebble who starts on the replacements bench, whilst in the loose trio Nizaam Carr comes back into the starting line-up at openside flank and Siya Kolisi is named among the replacements this week.
Scrumhalf Nic Groom returns from a minor knee injury which kept him out of action against the Sunwolves, and hooker Bongi Mbonambi gets another chance to start as Scarra Ntubeni has been ruled out with a hamstring niggle.
Stormers coach Robbie Fleck said that his team are determined to build on the winning momentum they have gathered so far this season.
“We know that every game is an opportunity to improve on what we have done before, and that is our aim up in Johannesburg.
“We have prepared well for this match and the players are focused on giving their best for 80 minutes this weekend,” he said.
