'Stinger' won't keep Lions flank sidelined

Johannesburg - The Lions have received good news on the injury front as they prepare to face the Waratahs in the Super Rugby semi-finals at Ellis Park on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 15:05.

Flank Cyle Brink sustained a "stinger" against the Jaguares at the weekend causing weakness in his right arm.

It has, however, settled well since the weekend and he is expected to be fit for this weekend, the Lions said on Monday.

The Lions confirmed no other injuries from the match against the Argentinians.

Therefore, by assumption, hooker Malcolm Marx, who left the field late against the Jaguares in some discomfort, has also been cleared to play.
