Sonny Bill Williams is off to university!

Cape Town - All Black centre Sonny Bill Williams has enrolled at Otago Polytechnic to do a bachelor's degree in Applied Management.

According to the BBC website, Williams will be studying alongside nine of his Blues team-mates.

Course leader Glenys Ker explained that Williams would be treated "no different to any other student".

"I understand that sport is a big part of their lives - it is their career - and they have actually achieved a lot of things, both in and out of sport," she said.

"They are beautiful writers.

"Their ability to reflect on what they do, what they have done, who they are and who they want to be... it's a real privilege to gain such insights."

Williams, who has 47 caps for the All Blacks, is hoping to have completed his studies by April, 2019.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
