Cape Town - Sharks director of rugby Gary Gold will appear before a SANZAAR judicial hearing for allegedly behaving in an untoward manner.
The Southern Hemisphere rugby governing body on Tuesday confirmed it had completed an investigation into the alleged conduct of Gold during the Sharks’ Super Rugby clash against the Crusaders in Durban on March 26.
SANZAAR has referred the matter for a hearing in accordance with its disciplinary rules.
The matter will be heard by SANZAAR judicial officer Nigel Hampton via teleconference on Tuesday (08:00 SA time).
“SANZAAR will be making no further comment until this process has been completed,” the organisation said via a press release issued on Tuesday morning.
