Savea can't wait for Super Rugby final

Cape Town - Hurricanes openside flanker Ardie Savea was delighted to make the Super Rugby final, saying that playing in it would be a career highlight.

Savea, who starred for the Hurricanes in their 25-9 victory over the Chiefs in Wellington on Saturday, won his personal duel with Sam Cane.

And he couldn't hide his delight after the semi-final as he beamed at the prospect of running out in next week's clash.

"It's bloody awesome," said the dynamic back-row forward, before he revealed that not playing in last year's final was a hard pill to swallow.

"Last year was probably the toughest moment of my career, but if I get an opportunity next week to play it would be the highlight of my career.

"First things first, let's get this body right as I'm pretty sore after tonight so I'll try and recover and do the same thing next week as I did this."
