SA halfback duo for Sunwolves' Super Rugby opener

Cape Town - The Sunwolves' match-day squad to face the Melbourne Rebels in Fukuoka on Saturday features several South Africans.

The halfback pairing consists of former Springbok scrumhalf Rudy Paige and ex-Sharks flyhalf Garth April.

Up front, former Bulls prop Conraad van Vuuren starts at tighthead prop, while on the bench there are three more South Africans in former Bulls prop Hencus van Wyk, former Sharks flank Justin Downey and former Springbok and Stormers wing/centre, JJ Engelbrecht.

Kick-off for Saturday's clash is scheduled for 05:45 (SA time).
