The Rebels upset the apple cart last week when they stunned the Highlanders 28-22 in Dunedin but lock Matt Philip expects a different challenge from the Lions this weekend.
"They're a big pack - bigger than the Highlanders - and they love their maul," Philip told the Rebels' official website.
"For me personally, it doesn't really change week to week.
"I've just got to bring a solid set piece, try get my hands on the ball and get forward for the team around the park."
Philip, who will be playing his 50th Super Rugby match on Saturday, described the Rebels' first-ever win in Dunedin as "awesome".
"The boys put in the work and to get the result was even better. I got to have a couple of beers with the boys in the change rooms after the game, which felt good."
The Lions, meanwhile, will be eager to get back to winning ways having started their Australasian tour on a low note by losing 29-17 to the Waratahs in Parramatta.
Saturday's clash is scheduled for 10:15 (SA time).
