Peyper to ref Lions v Stormers at Ellis Park

Cape Town - Jaco Peyper will referee Saturday’s South African Super Rugby derby between the Lions and Stormers in Johannesburg.

Kick-off is at 17:15.

Peyper will be assisted by compatriots Rasta Rasivhenge and AJ Jacobs, with Willie Vos the television match official (TMO).

In the other match involving a South African team this weekend, Australia’s Nic Berry has been appointed to referee the Sharks’ game against the Hurricanes in Napier on Friday (09:35 SA time).

Berry will be assisted by Kiwis Brendon Pickerill and Angus Mabey, with Aaron Paterson the TMO.

The other South African involvement this weekend sees Marius van der Westhuizen referee the game between the Jaguares and Crusaders in Buenos Aires on Saturday (23:40 SA time).

Van der Westhuizen will be assisted by Argentines Federico Anselmi and Pablo Deluca, with Santiago Borsani on TMO duty.
