No end in sight to NZ player drain

Cape Town - Seta Tamanivalu and Charlie Ngatai are reported to be the next two high-profile New Zealand players linked with moves abroad.

According to the New Zealand Herald website, the duo have both been linked with a switch to the French Top 14.

Tamanivalu, now playing for the Crusaders and capped three times by the All Blacks, is said to be moving to Bordeaux after falling down the pecking order of wings in New Zealand.

Ngatai, a star in the centres for the Chiefs, is set to join Lyon, with Sonny Bill Williams, Ryan Crotty and Anton Lienert-Brown - among others - all ahead of him at international level.

Ngatai has battled head injuries and concussion throughout 2016 and 2017 and seems to have given up a potential spot in the All Blacks' 2019 Rugby World Cup squad.

Meanwhile, it is also expected that Crusaders flank Jordan Taufua will leave New Zealand, for either Europe or Japan.
