Nabuli cleared of serious injury

Melbourne - Reds wing Eto Nabuli has been cleared of any serious injury sustained during Queensland Country’s 46-32 National Rugby Championship loss to the Melbourne Rising.

Nabuli suffered a head knock in a last-gasp defensive effort trying to prevent a try to Rising wing Ah-Mu Tuimalealiifano, in the two sides' Round Two fixture at the weekend.

Scans came back clear of any neck, spinal or head injuries. Nabuli was kept in hospital in Melbourne overnight for observation as a precaution and returned to Queensland this morning.

He will continue to be monitored by Reds medical staff utilising World Rugby and Australian Rugby concussion guidance principles.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
