Marx blow for Lions

Cape Town - The Lions have suffered a blow with the news that hooker Malcolm Marx is sidelined with a neck injury.

Marx suffered the injury in their 29-22 win over the Stormers in Johannesburg at the weekend.

In a press statement released on Monday, the Lions said Marx has a soft tissue injury in his neck and will be out of action for a few weeks.

Prop Julian Redelinghuys also sprained his right wrist against the Stormers and is unlikely to be available for this weekend’s clash against the Southern Kings in Port Elizabeth.
