Major honour for veteran Crusaders prop

Cape Town - The Crusaders have announced that their ground, AMI Stadium, will be renamed Wyatt Crockett Stadium for their clash with the Highlanders this weekend.

This tweak will be for one game only as the franchise celebrate the loosehead prop's 200th Super Rugby game, which he brought up recently.

Crockett will retire from Super Rugby at the end of the current season but has inked a deal to play for Mitre 10 Cup side the Tasman Mako.

The Crusaders, meanwhile, are comfortably top of both the New Zealand Conference and the overall log in Super Rugby this year having lost just two of their 14 matches.

Friday's match against the Highlanders kicks off at 09:35 (SA time).

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
