Lood knows nothing about Bulls deal

Cape Town - Springbok and Cheetahs lock Lood de Jager says he has not been in contact with anyone regarding a possible move the Bulls.

A report earlier this month linked the 23-year-old with a move to Pretoria at the end of the season.

“No one has talked to me about it, honestly. I don’t know where the newspapers get the information,” De Jager told Netwerk24.

De Jager’s contract with the Cheetahs expires at the end of the season, but at present he is just focused on his task at hand with the Cheetahs.

“I have a two-year contract with SA Rugby so I still have to play in South Africa next year. At present, my main goal is just to improve my form at the Cheetahs.

“I first want to do my job here and then I can have a look… maybe I’ll stay (in Bloemfontein), you never know.

“But at this stage I’m not too bothered about contracts or anything else.”
