    Lood back in Cheetahs starting XV

    Cape Town - Cheetahs coach Franco Smith has named his team for Saturday’s Super Rugby clash against the Southern Kings in Bloemfontein (17:05 kick-off).

    Smith made several changes to the team that went down 21-6 to the Waratahs in Sydney last weekend.

    Up front, Charles Marais, Torsten van Jaarsveld, Maks van Dyk, Lood de Jager, Paul Schoeman and Uzair Cassiem are all back in the starting line-up.

    As such, Jacques du Toit, Ox Nche, Luan de Bruin, Henco Venter and Carl Wegner feature on the bench.

    Among the backs, Shaun Venter and Tian Meyer switch places scrumhalf, with Meyer moving to the bench.

    Captain Francois Venter will be playing at outside centre with Michael van der Spuy at No 12, while Nico Lee provides cover on the bench.
