The Sharks are the only unbeaten side in Super Rugby this year!
19 Mar 21:10
Siya Kolisi is the man of the match!
19 Mar 21:10
Well, there will certainly be some talking points about the match tonight. The red card was fair, however. You cannot throw two punches and expect to get away with it.

Stormers 31 Brumbies 11

19 Mar 21:05

80' - TRY to the Stormers!

Koch has managed to get that over the line!  There was a cross-kick in the lead up from Burger, Notshe collected, was brought done a metre from the line but the burly prop did the rest.

Du Plessis converts and the Stormers have won at Newlands.

Stormers 31 Brumbies 11

It could be another Stormers try.

Koch is the man that was stretching for the line.

19 Mar 20:59

76' - TRY to the Stormers!

Leyds gets the benefit of the doubt. To me, he seemed to have lost that forward.

The ref says he still had control of the ball however.

Leyds almost looks embarrassed.

Du Plessis cannot convert.

63' - RED CARD to the Brumbies!

Mann-Rea is sent off for an elbow and a punch on Kebble

19 Mar 20:42
Taking their time here. The first shot seems to be an elbow. To me it should be a red card.

Kolisi is over after brilliant work by Du Toit.

That was all started by after Leyds collected a Brumbies up-and-under and launched a counter-attack. Carr was also heavily involved.

Coleman converts!

54' - Desperate defence from the Brumbies as they stop Du Toit inches from the line...
19 Mar 20:28

He cannot find touch and Coleman makes him pay with a brilliant kick into the left-hand corner.

No mistake this time by the Brumbies pivot. He cuts the Stormers lead to 1.

19 Mar 20:15

41' - The Brumbies keep the ball for a number of phases but the Stormers defence holds firm, forcing the visitors to kick ahead.

Leyds collects brilliantly, flicks inside to Kolisi but he knocks on.

19 Mar 20:13
40' - Toomua kicks off for the Brumbies. The Stormers control and clear to just before their own 10m line.

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Super Rugby clash between the Stormers and the Brumbies from Newlands Stadium.

  • 0'

The Brumbies travel from Canberra to a very sunny and warm Mother City to meet the Stormers who lost their home game last weekend to their rivals the Sharks.

  • 0'

The three tries the Stormers have conceded this season ? including Saturday's controversial penalty try against the Sharks ? is the fewest of any team in the competition. This is a direct result of their 91 percent tackle success rate.

  • 0'

Meanwhile the Brumbies have been crossing the whitewash at regular intervals and notched up 15 tries in their three matches, tied at the top of that statistic with the Chiefs.

  • 0'

The home side welcome scrum-half Nic Groom and winger Kobus van Wyk to the starting lineup. Groom is replacing the injured Jarno Vermaak, while Louis Schreauder comes in as cover on the bench. Left winger Leolin Zas ? who has impressed with two tries from his three starts ? makes way for van Wyk. The Brumbies remain unchanged from the side that put 31 points on the Force in Perth last week.
