The history is on the side of the Stormers but the Lions are in good form and will fancy their chances to win this home game.
Ackermann has named the exact same lineup that defeated the Sharks on Saturday. Jaco Kriel took a knock on his arm but has been included in side.
Robbie Fleck makes four changes to the side from Cape Town. Janse van Rensburg trading places with Oli Kebble, Nizaam Carr returns to the side and Siya Kolisi is named as the replacement. Scrum-half Nic Groom returns after a minor knee injury.
Also for the Stormers, Scarra Ntubeni is out with a hamstring injury giving hooker Mbonambi another chance.
The referee today is Stuart Berry with Lourens van der Merwe and Cwengile Jadezweni assisting him and Willie Vos is the TMO.
The Lions have won three of their last five games and the Stormers have won four of their last five. These are two teams in good form, playing intelligent rugby, so this clash could be a great one.
