Lions unveil new Super Rugby jerseys

    Cape Town - The Lions, runners-up in Super Rugby in 2017 have unveiled their home and away jerseys for the 2018 season. 

    Designed by kit suppliers Canterbury and marketed under the hashtag '#MakeThemSeeRed', the jersey sees the traditional red and white bands of the union displayed prominently.

    The Golden Lions also confirmed that Jonsson Workwear has extended their relationship with the union until 2019.

    “Jonsson Workwear and Lions Rugby share similar values; hard-work, commitment and tenacity.  We have sponsored the Lions since 2014, and look forward to another rewarding two years,' said Nick Jonsson, CEO of the company.

    The Lions start their Super Rugby season on February 17 against the Sharks in Johannesburg.
